1. NEWS stays in Tokyo for Countdown
2. NEWS will have a summer concert. SUMMER CONCERT PLEASE (notnotnot spring)!

I also want Question? to announce some obscure New Year's concert. But that's unrelated to Kanjani being in Kyocera Dome.

After watching the 091011 Shounen Club...

I guess Goto Hiromi meets my standards for being a part of Question?. He passes my inspection because he's decent-looking and has a good voice ('cept he's so totally lip-synching during his performance)

Finally finished watching Orthros...
I liked it. The ending was touching.

It's so hard to find free time nowadays :/

Boo school. I forgot to download Orthros. I hope I can watch it tonight. And what? Tegoshi was sick before 24hr TV? It must've been his fault that RyoPi got sick hahaha poor Tegoshi.

On the bright side, homework's done but I'm doing the Stats puzzle of the week so I don't have to worry about it this week :D

So last week I won this translation contest at lang-8.com. I translated this life insurance manifesto from Japanese to English. The prize? A 2500 yen gift certificate to Amazon JP. The downside? Shipping from Japan to the US is 2700 yen. Plus a 300 yen handling fee per item. So if I ordered one item that cost, say $1 or about 100 yen, I would have to pay $4 anyway. Ughhh.

I think I'm going to save the gift certificate and order something to be shipped to me in Japan >_> $30 for shipping? NO WAY.

So yesterday I attempted to watch 24hrtv via KeyHole. Everytime I checked Keyhole no NEWS parts were on and I wanted to watch the Dance Koshien but somehow I missed the competition (was playing PS2) and I only saw the results -______-

I was able to watch the synchronized swimming segment subtitled by newshfan and I'm attempting to download assorted other clips but atnews24hrtv most things are uploaded on Megaupload and I can't do parallel downloads so it's going to take FOREVER to download all the HQ clips (I'm pretty picky about quality)

This morning I came up with this idea theory that the Jrock DVD that was supposed to come out earlier this month (May? June?) was delayed because of Yone leaving Question?. Because, like, they came up with the artwork and tracklist and everything for the DVD, and then suddenly it was cancelled (or "postponed," as the website said)...with no word as to when it would be released. Actually the DVD isn't even listed on Johnnys Net now. BOO.

Aww I miss Yone already :/

Haha, I'm not sure if anybody really plays Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii anymore (it's been out for almost a year!) but my mom and I like to play all the time, and one of the cool features is that you can customize your own clothes! So I made some Johnny's-inspired clothing for my character to wear around the village!

And, if there's anyone who still plays, I also took screenshots of the pattern if you'd like it :]

I downloaded a commercial at Arashixdream that had Arashi dancing around in sparkly-ness with Disney characters, and then at the end it says "ハウス食品プレミアムナイト　嵐 in 東京ディズニーシー"

So...is Arashi going to be at Disneyland...? Or Disney Sea? That sounds fun. I wish I could go (haha it's a week too early for Thanksgiving!)

EDIT: Oh so I guess it's a private concert event for couples? That's romantic :]

Nearly finished with ROOKIES - haven't watched the special yet. I can't believe I actually got my dad into watching dramas o_o so now it's a family thing 'cept my brother won't watch them with me :[

Found out just now from question_jrs that there's rumors Yone might/has quit Johnny's...and therefore leaving Question?. T_T

And then there's other rumors (source unconfirmed) that Uchi Hiroki might replace him. As much as I've grown to like Uchi, I'd still miss Yonemura and Question? wouldn't be the same AT ALL!

I'll never forget how at the end of 真夜中のシャドーボーイ he was dancing with his back turned toward us like 20 feet away but then he turned around and faced us and then he did the "konkon" from Nobuta at the same time as the last two beats of the song <3<3<3<3 Hahaha I spazzed out soooooooooooooooo much.

Synopsis: Usami Kei (Tamaki Hiroshi) is a salaryman who is engaged to the daughter of a wealthy businessman, Kagawa Mei (Kanjiya Shihori). Due to the engagement, Kei has been given a high-paying job at Mei's father's company as well as a high-class apartment to live in. One day, Kei ends up in a broken-down elevator with the other three people living on his floor - Aizawa Airu (Karina), an interpreter, Sera Ojiro (Matsuda  Shota), a photographer, and Kikuta Masato (Tanihara Shosuke), a psychiatrist. In the elevator, the four start to discuss their love lives, but they are quick to find that nobody's is going very well. So, Kikuta proposes a Love Shuffle between the four neighbors and their partners, to see if they're truly meant to be with their current partners.

Highs: I adore DAIGO and Matsuda Shota, so having them in the drama is always a nice bonus. I really like Karina's character, Aizawa Airu, because she's headstrong and seems like the only normal character in the series. The girl who plays Kikuta's partner, Yoshitaka Yuriko, is really pretty too. I liked how this drama happens to have a ton of panda-related jokes. I really love pandas, so this was an unexpected surprise. The humor is also pretty good - had me cracking up a lot during the series :] And toward the end I was pretty into it because I was getting emotionally moved by what was going on, but nothing made me cry.

Lows: The theme song - Fantasy by Earth Wind and Fire started to get on my nerves after listening to it over and over again...(though I added it to iTunes today). Some of the topics of discussion were difficult to follow and pretty ridiculous in theory - on top of that it seems that 7 of the 8 main characters have issues. Similarly, there were a couple scenes in the drama that made me go "-__-". DAIGO was portrayed as a fumbling idiot and I felt bad for his character. And...at the end of the series I had difficulties figuring out exactly why things happened the way they did. Overall the details were difficult to follow and sometimes I have troubles with dramas that have too much philosophical talk. The drama's so ridiculously unrealistic but I suppose that's what makes it interesting...?
